Theme of Course

Let your passion for Yoga become your profession! Unlock the door to a transformative career in yoga with the Maharishi Yoga Āsana Instructor Training Course, a comprehensive 300-hour programme.

This training course provides an enriching curriculum that covers not only the biomechanics, benefits, and contra-indications of Maharishi Yoga Āsanas but also equips you with personalised teaching methodologies. You will learn observation techniques, adjustments, lesson planning, and effective feedback methods to refine your teaching style.

Beyond Āsana instruction, this course offers an in-depth exploration of Maharishi’s Vedic Science, Yoga Philosophy, traditional Yoga literature, and principles of ĀyurVeda.

You will gain insights into a Yoga lifestyle, ethics for Yoga Teachers, and practical advice on business aspects like finance planning and marketing.

The course structure is thoughtfully segmented into three phases to ensure a thorough and enjoyable learning experience:

• Phase 1: A fundamental journey with over 185 hours of instruction, including webinars, video sessions, and a (digital) in-residence section.
  2 video-sessions per week self-paced, workshops every fortnight, plus assignments.
  Digital-in-Residence: 15 – 22 June 2024
• Phase 2: A practical application phase with 60 hours of teaching practicum, anatomy and physiology videos, a 30-page thesis, and an exploration of yoga philosophies.
  July 2024 – February 2025
• Phase 3: The advanced and last phase focusses on therapeutic Prānāyāma techniques, Yoga Therapy introduction, spinal exercises, 3 versions of Sūryanamaskāra, eleven new Yoga Āsanas, the final (digital) in-residence section, and more.
  26 February 2025 – 16 May 2025 (2 video-sessions per week self-paced, workshops every fortnight, plus assignments.
  Digital-in-Residence: 5 September – 12 September 2025

 
Certification: To become a certified Maharishi Yoga Āsana Instructor, successful completion of all three phases (300 hours) is necessary. However, attending only Phase 1 grants a certificate of attendance.

Audience

This unique opportunity, offered by the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International in The Netherlands, is specifically designed for Governors, Sidhas, and Meditators to master the art of teaching Maharishi Yoga Āsanas with unparalleled expertise and confidence.

This course is designed to welcome everybody, regardless of previous knowledge, age, flexibility, or experience in Yoga Āsanas. We will be there to guide you from the very beginning of your training. Rest assured: every participant will receive personalised, professional guidance tailored to their unique physical condition and will be empowered to effectively guide and teach other upon completion of the training.
